ChakrasNot only can physical distress be indicated through bio-kinesiology, emotional state and causes for it can be evaluated as well. Specifically, the body has 7 Chakras each with 13 categories of information (click on diagram for more detail) which an experienced therapist can “tap into” in an attempt to pinpoint sources of weakness or illness. The most healthful diets cannot overcome or cure emotional and mental distress. Therefore, it is crucial the mind be “cleansed” and one’s environment be free of negative forces as well. These negative forces could include the stress caused by an abusive mate or parent or by an overly un-enjoyable employment setting. These typical mental influences in our fast-paced life-styles can actually cause physical illness. In the 1990’s I met a thrilling woman who complained of digestive trouble. Although her diet was not exemplary, it became quite clear to me her physical troubles originated from (what she called “loyalty” to) a destructive romantic relationship. The human body has astounding autonomic responses, but none as of yet to safeguard against acute emotional stress. As we can THINK ourselves into sickness, we can THINK ourselves into health. For a more scientific examination of Chakras, see: Quantifiable and Controllable
That mental aspect of health was described to me as quantifiable to some extent controllable by "use" of the Chakras. Martin Brofman, Ph.D. of healer.ch/ states, "Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel or vortex and it refers to each of the 7 energy centers of which our consciousness is composed. The 7 chakras (or energy centers) are listed as the Crown, Brow, Throat, Heart, Solar Plexus, Orange, and Root function as pumps or valves regulating the flow of energy through our energy system. … We open and close these valves when we decide what to think and what to feel and through which perceptual filter we choose to experience the world around us. The Chakras are not physical. … They interact with the physical body through two major vehicles, the endocrine system and the nervous system. Each of the 7 chakras is associated with one of the 7 endocrine glands and also a group of nerves called a plexus." Being upset releases toxins into your bloodstream

Close your eyes and breathe naturally for a few minutes. 2. The root chakra is at the end of your spine, at your tailbone. It shines towards every side. Let it be a ball of white light. 3. The second chakra, is located just under your navel. Imagine it is a ball of white light. 4. The third chakra, the solar plexus is the centre of your body. Visualize this as a ball of white light. 5. The fourth chakra is in the middle of your chest, near the heart. Imagine that your heart chakra sends shining white light in all directions. 6. Next we have the throat chakra. Imagine it as a ball of white light. 7. The sixth chakra, the third eye. Is between your eyes, a little above them. Visualize a shining white light coming from it. 8. The seventh chakra is the crown on the top of your head, a little towards the back. Also imagine this to be a shining light. When you do this exercise it works two ways: A. The chakras are centers of energy. Your energy will flow more easily; it will be less blocked by emotions like stress. B. Doing this exercise is a bit like a meditation. If you feel difficulty meditating, you should try this chakra healing. By giving your attention to you chakra's you are giving your thoughts a direction, so they have to stop wandering. This will have a peaceful and relaxing effect. According to Annelies, it's very easy to do this exercise everyday. Try it! http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Solve-Stress---Use-Your-Chakras&id=1736019
