The skin is by far the largest human organ and both secretes and absorbs fluid. About 2 pounds of the body’s waste is eliminated through the skin daily. Hence, the essentiality of skin brushing. The procedure is relatively simple. With a brush especially designed for the skin, begin at the feet and brush the skin with moderate strokes toward the mid-chest (heart) region of the body. The brush should always be used completely dry and it will remove dry skin, uric acid (which eases the load on the kidneys), and other contaminants from the surface of the skin. Initially (the first month or so) the process should be completed upon arising and again just before bedtime. From then on, twice a week should suffice.

Skin brushing pointers offered by Dr. Bernard Jensen:
A. Opens pores, removes toxins and dead skin, increases blood circulation, stimulates hormone and oil producing glands, helps take load off other organs by helping the eliminative system, helps rejuvenate the nervous system, helps improve muscle tone and prevent fat deposits, improves complexion and tightens the skin.

B. Every 2 weeks wash your brush (bristles only) and let dry in sun, never share your brush, never brush irritation or infected areas, brush scalp regularly to promote hair growth, for the face area use a facial skin brush and be gentle, increased soap equals decreased natural body oil and no oil means no interaction with the sunlight to form vitamin-D, and always shower after skin brushing.

Slant Boarding (every day for at least 10 minutes)

Slant Boarding
One of the BEST persons on earth.

According to Dr. Jensen, the daily use of a slant board (for at least 10 min) will help any condition that is wrong with the body. It allows all organs to be moved back into their proper positions, particularly the prolapsed organs, and starts the flow of blood into the head and brain area. … Leading beauty consultants all highly recommend the use of the slanting board for beauty. It is good for the eyes, ears, nose, toe nails, hair or anything else one can mention. It also helps to eliminate wrinkles! He goes as far as to say, “every patient of mine uses a board, or [s]he is not my patient.”

When unchecked, the earth’s gravity takes a toll on the internal organs. A common, but often undiagnosed condition that may be linked to gravity, is known as prolapsus (of the colon). The transverse colon should travel straight across the midsection. However, it can eventually sink down and hang atop the internal reproductive organs causing a myriad of difficulties which can include considerably decreased sexual performance.

Never use a slant board right after eating. Wait at least two hours. Just 10 minutes a day on a slant board can bring unprecedented and remarkable improvement to one’s overall physical, mental, and emotional health.

Nasal Cleanse (once a month or as needed)
“By far the best way to keep your nose clean and keep the nasal passages clear and unobstructed is to give yourself a regular nasal douche, known in yoga lore as the ‘neti.’ The neti loosens and flushes away encrustations of dried mucus, dissolves and expels dust, greases and other pollutants, and thoroughly washes the sensitive olfactory endings, thus enhancing their capacity to extract and assimilate chee [essential life force] from air” (Reid, 1989, p. 153).

The process sounds much more intrusive and uncomfortable than it truly is. “The major hurdle is mental, not mechanical. [It requires rinsing the nostrils with a saline solution]. … You’ll be astounded by some of the junk that comes out: besides the usual ‘snot’ you’ll sometimes find gritty black particles, wads of dust and lint, blobs of grease, fibrous strings, and other pollutants impacted inside the nasal caverns. … Scents that passed you by unnoticed before suddenly play aromatic symphonies in your nose, and your sense of taste — half of which involves the nose — improves multifold” (p.154).

Fasting (every month or as needed)
This is a process by which no solid foods are eaten usually for a period of several days. It gives the digestive system a rest and I highly recommend occasional fasts. Colonic irrigation should be performed in conjunction with the fasts. DO NOT FAST WHILE ON MEDICATIONS! I have known the following to be an excellent fasting diet: At least three times a day for 1 to 5 consecutive days consume the following:

2 to 4 ounces of fresh wheat grass juice and 16 to 32 ounces of fresh carrot juice Consume the wheatgrass first and wash it down with carrot juice. On the day after the fast, consume only easy to digest foods such as fruits, vegetables, and liquids.

ALL evaluative & internal cleansing processes must be done under the direction of a physician and/or qualified holistic practitioner.
