Top 10 to Keep / Avoid
Let go of those things you thought were ”good” for you … embrace these lists!
If you are lucky enough to be in Atlantic City, New Jersey,
you don’t have to turn down a Whitehouse sub or when in Manhattan, no big reason to refuse a Hot Pastrami on Rye from the Stage Deli or plate of pasta from Rao’s with that incredible Marinara sauce or even a slice of pizza from
Lou Malnati’s in Chicago.
I’m saying, those truly become special eating occasions when you embrace the list below as your day-to-day regimen.
The List Below Should Comprise over 90% of your Diet

According to a book entitled, “Eat Right for your Blood Type” (1996), persons of certain blood types are naturally drawn to consume meat. Basically, the authors assert type A’s are better off vegetarian whereas type O’s are natural meat eaters. The type B’s and AB’s are a combination of all. Almost 400 pages of specifics are provided. However, other data suggests that meat consumption is directly related to heart disease. Consumption of meat is at your own risk and is not a recommended staple for many other reasons. John Robbins book entitled, “Diet for a New America” explains in great detail how the mass consumption of animal meat reeks havoc on us and the environment.
The use of herbs and spices is strongly encouraged. Anything natural that helps salivation is great! Use dressings and sauces to that end sparingly.
TOP 10 THINGS to AVOID
1. Refined Sugar (use raw honey or raw sugar or raw agave instead)
2. Table Salt (use sea salt instead) … A nutritionist at the Mayo Clinic has a contrasting opinion.

5. Soda pop, artificial ‘Energy’ Drinks or (excessive) Beer, Liquor or Wine
6. Red Meat and all Lunch Meats (maybe 3 servings a year)

8. Fried Foods of any kind or Roasted Peanuts or Peanut Butter (use raw almond butter instead)
9. Cooked (or Pasteurized) Canned Fruits or Vegetables or their Juices

Above all, DO NOT smoke (or even go near) cigarettes.
NOTE: There are healthy alternatives to most everything one could consume. It’s more about better choices and less about “dieting.” This website is replete with information related to better food choices. Seek out a health-food store in your area and you should find the employees there very willing to help. If you end up spending much more time than usual in the produce section, you are on the right path!
I have found the body craves what it is consistently fed. The trick is to get the bad stuff (toxicity, harmful thoughts, etc.) OUT and the good stuff (live nutrients, peace) IN. Once getting past the first 21 days, it is my experience the body and mind will begin to work together.
Essentially, getting healthy … from the inside out.
